April 2007-A correction has been made to some of the 2002 DPH Prevention Service Area reports in Part IV Summary of Ever and Current Substance Use Prevalence Rates for any drug use current (page 47). Changes consist of a slight decrease (1% to 2%) from previously reported data for some of the categories; except for Service Area #19 which had a decrease of 4% for 11th graders. Corrected data are shown in red. No changes were made in the Service Area #2 report.

The 2002 IYS Substance Abuse Prevention reports are based on the county configuration of prevention service areas and not on prevention planning regions as was done in 1999. Therefore, comparison between the 1999 and 2002 substance abuse prevention reports would not be appropriate.
